Ibiza Weekly Round-up: 10th February 2012

It’s under 100 days until the start of the Ibiza Opening Party season and things are hotting up in Ibiza! There’s been a load of confirmed parties and promoters, but it’s all the same as last year. We’re proud to have the biggest calendar of confirmed parties and promoters online! Anyway, here’s our third weekly round-up.

Rumours this week:

• There’s a lot of rumours being thrown around at the moment relating to the announcement last week of a 3 day festival in Ibiza. As usual there’s a lot of speculation on who may be playing, and Rhianna and Elton John are a couple of the names that have been mentioned. If these are true then it’s a totally different style of music that Ibiza rarely sees. The other rumour surrounding this is that it will be run by two of the most famous promoters in Ibiza, who’ve not hosted their night in a few years.

What’s new on the Ibiza 2012 website?

We’ve been updating the functionality of the site to streamline certain sections. We’ve updated the venue pages to hold more information without compromising the readability or design. We’ve also invested heavily in our Ibiza Events Calendar this year, replacing our old calendar with a hugely powerful new system. New features include an Ibiza Event Search which you can use to filter the events down to show only what you’re interested in – excellent for showing only the events for the time that you’re in Ibiza.
