BBC Radio 1 Weekend Ibiza 2012

Every year Radio 1 descend upon the island for an un-missable weekend of events in early August. They kindly run free events full of international DJs and the hottest artists in some of Ibiza’s finest venues.

The 2012 BBC Radio 1 Weekend in Ibiza has been confirmed by Annie Mac to be taking place on the 3rd – 5th August 2012, more information will follow!

Last year Radio 1 took over the new Ushuaia hotel for the beginning of a music marathon, before heading over the road to Space for a special Come Together night, and finally a live recording from Mambos the following Sunday. Thousands enjoyed the event on the island with many millions enjoying from around the world thanks to it being broadcast live on Radio 1. 2011 saw Annie Mac, Pete Tong, Trevor Nelson and Judge Jules present Example, 2 Bears, Skream with Sam Frank PA, Little Dragon, Calvin Harris, Erick Morillo & Shawnee Taylor, Nic Fanciulli, James Zabiela, Azari & III, Carl Cox and more, and 2012 sounds like it will be even bigger.
