Ushuaia, the glamourous beach club / hotel in Playa D’en Bossa will be the venue for Avicii’s first Ibiza residency. Every Sunday from 15th July – 26th August will be taken over by Avicii and his very special guests.

The Mulletover team are planning four parties at the Playa D’en Bossa underground club, Sankeys throughout the summer following on from what must be one of the most interesting stories of promoting since 2005. Rob Star was kind enough to give us a run-down of the history of Mulletover:

2005 The start of our Ibiza parties. We held an amazing villa party that everyone came to after Secretsundaze. Jamie Jones played until 11:00am, when the Police came and turned the music off. This first party was a highlight for me as it was just like the parties we were doing in London.

2006 We did every Sunday morning in the Discoteca of Space as part of We Love. This was also the year we started the party in the hills. Geddes, Mulletover’s musical head honcho believes this was probably the best party we’ve ever done. Tiefschwarz and loads of others played – it went on for ages.

2007 We did a series of 3 parties with Sid Shanti including the Party in the Hills part 2 which went on for 22 hours until the Police closed it down. Sol Den Serra – the all day party on the beach and then inside the restaurant until 4:00am. The Police also closed this one down. The Party in The Blue Rose resulted in a roadblock with huge queues to get in and finally the Portinatx Lighthouse party…. The one that I got arrested at.

2008 Can’t remember…

2009 We did a party in the Zoo with Discobloodbath.

2012 Our first season at Sankeys Ibiza.

WILL.I.AM now confirmed for a keynote interview. Joining artists such as Nile Rodgers (CHIC), Diplo, Luciano, Carl Cox, Professor Green, Locodice and Paul Oakenfold, the Black Eyed Peas star will be yet another big draw to what’s set to be the most in-depth, star-studded summit yet.

Here is your chance to hear Will.I.Am’s personal journey to the present – and his plans for the future. Will’ll also DJ at the IMS event on May 24 with David Guetta at the World Heritage Site of Dalt Vila. He joins Guetta, Diplo, Paul Oakenfold, Minx and goldfish live.

If this isn’t impressive enough, they’ve also announced that the legendary Danny Tenaglia will be connecting live from NYC to Ibiza, with the DJ icon joining via video link-up to discuss his recent decision to step back from the world of DJing. A hero to many, this will be another fascinating insight into the life of a DJ who’s experienced it all. He will be interviewed live from his Manhattan loft.

And not only that, Producer legend and electronic pioneer Giorgio Moroder will also join the event in person. Moroder inspired so many of the first and second wave of dance music artists – here he comes to Ibiza to explain his history and where he goes to from here.

If you’ve been keeping an eye on any Ibiza sources over the past couple of months you will have seen a load of rumours and gossip surrounding one of Ibiza’s biggest Nights. Some of the rumours seemed likely, some of them were frankly ridiculous but now the Swedes have confirmed everything.

They will be returning to Ushuaia for 2012 holding a series of events spanning two months in the summer. In which 3 of the parties will be hosted by all three members, with the rest of the parties being hosted individually by Axwell, Ingrosso or Angello.

Kicking off the summer with a brand new signing to the fleet, Pukka Up have exclusive use on the island’s biggest 300 capacity party boat! Whilst on board Ibiza’s biggest boat party you will be treated to the best in House Music from an array of DJ talent. Pukka Up know exactly how to please a crowd and this summer they are going bigger and better offering the ultimate party experience for you and your friends. Pukka Up Fridays has also had its very own make over and will now offer a €65 ticket deal which will get you onto one of the five boat parties in San Antonio or Playa D’en Bossa and entry into the five star outdoor party hotel, Ushuaia.

In addition to boat parties this summer will see the launch of the brand new PUKKA UP IBIZA which will house the Pukka Up Bar, the Pukka Up Diner, the Pukka Up Cinema and the Pukka Up Casino. Pukka Up Ibiza will offer you the chance to get involved with fun Casino games, chill out sessions where you can watch old school films or simply a dining experience where you can grab a bite to eat American style. Of course there will be a chance to party and under the bar mantra of “Don’t just drink…Dance” there is guaranteed fun to be had!
